ARTISTIC TILE
When designer Wendy Sharp started designing the new locker room for LSU Tigers Women’s Basketball team, she wanted to create a space that was “what a national championship locker room looks like.” The design had to exude the confidence, talent, and strength of the team. Naturally with LSU’s school colors of purple and gold, Wendy’s first thought was Lilac marble. The violet-hued stone, cut in multiple formats, was paired with metallic Martello Gold, iridescent Garden District, and custom Moons to complete the look. Wendy Sharp notes, “the connection between all the luxury stones used in the spaces and winning is hand in hand. It is something that is special and timeless.”
